Ashwagandha has become a common herb that is said to be good for libido, not only that, it’s calming and boosts the immune system, can help with mental fog, aches & pains and even sleep! Ashwagandha is also an adaptogen, a special class of herbs that help the body regulate natural metabolism and create balance in the body. Adaptogens can also help raise resistance to physical, chemical, and biological stressors, ashwagandha is capable of responding to stress in anyway the body needs, it balances stress hormones such as cortisol and of course is an aphrodisiac. This tea’s flavour is subtle, soothing, earthy and comforting with slight overtones of chai spices, a sip of love.
Bring ashwagandha to a boil and then reduce to a simmer in milk on low heat for 15 minutes 15 Minutes. Add the honey, spices, salt and stir until well mixed and turn off heat. Strain and dust with cinnamon. Drink 1 cup 1-2 times day.
