Boos† Immune Booster Glorious Green Juice.

If it’s cold and flu season where you are, this immune booster juice is perfect to keep it at bay, besides, it tastes deliciously, nutritiously fresh! This recipe offers a plethora of nutrients and antioxidants your body needs to heal and in juiced form, it allows your body to easily absorb the nutrients to keep your immune system strong and ticking! Think Popeye!

Ingredients

1 Granny Smith apple (an apple a day…)

2 cups raw baby spinach

2 oranges

2 kiwis

2 stalks of celery

¼ cup cucumber, peeled if not organic

¼ cup fresh cilantro

1-inch piece of ginger root (about 2 cm)

A splash of love

Method

Peel and chop the ingredients, put everything through your juicer…as simple as that! Enjoy your sips towards health.

Note: I always re-use the ‘pulp’ or fiber from juiced fruits/veg. In this case I make a delicious green smoothie with the leftover 'pulp' plus, I added a banana and fresh spinach to round it out. I will also freeze the pulp and use it for pureed soups! Why not re-use, re-duce and re-cycle…and save the planet!
