

Smooth Move Oolong Chai Latte Tea Tonic.

Oolong tea is an ancient traditional Chinese tea from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, the same plant used to make green tea and black tea (semi-fermented). It is said to reduce inflammation in the digestive tract, making it highly beneficial to anyone with acid reflux or ulcer issues. Additionally, known to combat some of the bad bacteria in the gut.

- Yields: Serves 4
Ingredients
4 Oolong tea bags or loose tea equivalent
2 cups canned coconut milk, almond milk or dairy-free “milk” of choice
1 teaspoon high quality pure vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon (I prefer True Cinnamon)
2 teaspoons coconut palm sugar or your favourite sweetner, to taste
Optional Dusting: A pinch of ginger, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg
Method
Add all ingredients to a large saucepan and brew hot tea for about 4 minutes 4 Minutes . Strain, dust with spice and serve.
