Take Heart Chocolate Chia Date Energy Bites.

Chocolate, dates, chia seeds, and pumpkin seeds all provide food for your heart! These are perfect for snacking and even better, the fiber content will help you stay satiated between meals! These are delicious bites of energy.

 1 cup dates, pitted (soak in hot water to soften, then drain, reserving ½ cup of the cooled water)
 1 teaspoon coconut oil
 1/8 cup chia seeds
 1/8 cup ground flaxseed
 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
 1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
 2 tablespoons water (from the soaked dates)
 A splash of love

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until the dates have broken down and all the ingredients are incorporated.

Form the ingredients into little balls about 1″ in diameter (if too stiff, add more 'reserved' date water, if too moist add chia and flax seeds until firm enough to roll).

Place the bites onto a tray, then put into the freezer for 30 minutes 30 Minutes to form. Enjoy or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
