Coriander-Cumin-Fennel Tea, or CCF Tea as it is called, is a traditional Ayurvedic remedy. A nice, healthy blend of licorice and cumin flavours to fill your mug! The three herbs are boiled to create a deliciously nurturing and digestively-balancing tea. According to Ayurveda, coriander seeds supports digestion, the liver, combat allergies, reduce bloating. Cumin is thought to support digestion and to have a balancing effect on us. Fennel has been traditionally used to stimulate digestive juices, reduce indigestion, prevent gas, and address constipation. In India, fennel seeds are often chewed after meals to aid digestion!

For a larger batch of tea (combine in a jar)
 1 part coriander seeds
 1 part cumin seeds (reduce amount if you find cumin seeds overpowering)
 1 part fennel seeds
 A splash of love
For a single serving
 ¼ tsp. coriander seeds
 ¼ tsp. cumin seeds (if you find cumin seeds overpowering, reduce by half)
 ¼ tsp. fennel seeds
 2 cups of water
 A splash of love

You can either make a jarful of this tea for future use, or just measure out the individual herbs for a single serving.

Place ¾ teaspoon of the blended herbs into 2 cups of water in a pot or kettle. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 4-5 minutes 4 Minutes . Strain and enjoy hot!
