Rapture Taste of Peru Superfood Quinoa Maca Chocolate Bark.

This delicious chocolate includes a healthy taste of Peru – maca root takes centre stage! Maca root is a Peruvian tuber that’s part of the cruciferous family of vegetables. It’s an excellent source of protein, fiber, several vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, copper and iron. It also contains over 20 amino acids — including all eight essential amino acids. It’s an adaptogenic herb known to provide energy and stamina, to help balance hormones as well as improve mood and libido (also called Peruvian Ginseng)! An adaptogen is a special class of herbs that help the body regulate natural metabolism and create balance in the body. They also help raise resistance to physical, chemical, and biological stressors, maca is capable of responding to stress in anyway the body needs and balances stress hormones such as cortisol. Enjoy feeling good!!
