SafeSpace Iced Orange Dandelion Tea Tonic.

Dandelions – the miracle weed – are actually considered as one of the 5 most nutritious green vegetables on earth! Dandelions have amazing health benefits, they are high in antioxidants and excellent for boosting your immune system, liver cleansing, plus they are high in vitamins A, C, K, and B, they are also high minerals like magnesium, zinc, potassium, iron, calcium, and choline! Plus you can use all parts of the plant - use the flowers in drinks and baking, the leaves in salads, PLUS the roots roasted can be made into a (super liver healthy) tea!

  • Yields: 1 Cup


1 teaspoon dried, roasted dandelion roots

1 tablespoon dried dandelion leaves

1 cup cold water

Zest of ½ orange

2 fresh oranges, juiced

½ tablespoon raw, unpasteurized honey, to taste

Large pinch cinnamon

A splash of love


Place dandelion roots and water into a large saucepan, bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and add dandelion leaves. Simmer for 20 minutes 20 Minutes, allow to cool and add orange zest, juice and honey, stir gently.

Refrigerate until completely chilled, serve dusted with cinnamon. During a liver detox, enjoy 2 cups per day without food! Enjoy!
