Rehab Green Matcha Detox Latte Tea Tonic.

Matcha green tea powder is finely-ground emerald green tea from Japanese green tea leaves. An excellent source of Vitamin A, B-complex, C, E, K and minerals and very high in antioxidants, amino acids, and chlorophyll, which is what makes it's beautiful bright green colour! Go green!

  • Yields: Serves 1–2

Ingredients

¾ cup coconut or almond milk

1 teaspoon ceremonial-grade matcha (to taste)

¾ cup hot water

1 teaspoon coconut oil

2 teaspoons coconut butter (coconut ‘flesh’ ground into a spreadable paste)

1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or raw, unpasteurized honey or your favourite sweetner!

Method

In a small saucepan, slightly warm the coconut or almond milk. In a blender, add the milk and all the other ingredients. Blend on high until well-combined. Dust with cinnamon or matcha green tea powder for decoration, serve and enjoy!
