Beautiful You Blueberry Beet Antioxidant Smoothie.

I know what you’re thinking...beets? Hmmm? Beets are worth the effort though, trust me, here’s why: beets are high in folate, vitamins A and C, iron, potassium, manganese, and fiber. It's said that there are even anti-aging benefits for your skin: beets stimulate cell production and repair, which can protect your skin from premature aging and wrinkles. you want beets in your smoothie??

  • Yields: 4 Smoothies


2 bananas, fresh or frozen

1½ cups strawberries, fresh or frozen

½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen

2 kiwis

1 cup cooked beets, chopped

1 cup almond or coconut milk

½ tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seed

1 tablespoon raw, unpasteurized honey, to taste

Splash pomegranate juice

If too thick, add coconut water or filtered water (if preferred)

A splash of love


Place all ingredients into your blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth, add more liquid if required. Adjust sweetener. Pour into glasses, decorate with extra blueberries if you like and enjoy!
