Boos† Cold Buster Vitamin C Orange Smoothie.

If you’re under the weather, this delicious Cold Buster Vitamin C Smoothie will come to your rescue!! Adding loads of antioxidants like Vitamin C helps to boost your immunity and this smoothie is jam-packed with delicious sources of Vitamin C! Hemp hearts are a great zinc source and also provide protein, which is also critical for immune function! And to top all that off, it tastes amazing, too.

Ingredients

1 banana, fresh or frozen

2 large oranges

½ freshly squeezed lemon

1 cup frozen mango chunks

1 kiwi, coarsely chopped

1 small carrot, peeled and coarsely chopped

1-inch fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon hemp hearts

½ cup coconut milk, or your favourite!

Orange juice, as needed (or use filtered water)

For an added boost:

½ cup fresh papaya, cubed

1 teaspoon turmeric

A splash of love

Method

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth. Add more orange juice to adjust the consistency if desired. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
