Rapture Taste of South America Yerba Mate Latte Tea Tonic.

Yerba mate is from the nourishing leaves of the South American rainforest holly tree. For centuries, the Aché Guayakí rainforest tribe have sipped yerba mate from a traditional mate gourd for its rejuvenative effects. They found invigoration, focus, and nourishment in yerba mate. The leaves contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, abundant antioxidants, practically all of the vitamins necessary to sustain life! You can even sip this through the course of the day for an ongoing energy boost! A mild, subtle, leafy, slightly ‘grassy’ (not gassy) flavour with overtones of coconut and cinnamon, a delicious mug of happiness!

Ingredients

1 ½ cups filtered water

½ cup coconut, unsweetened almond or hemp non-dairy milk

1 tablespoon Yerba Mate leaf powder

1 teaspoon coconut oil or unsalted grass-fed butter

1 teaspoon raw, unpasteurized honey or coconut palm sugar

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch Himalayan sea salt

A splash of love

Method

Heat water to almost boiling and place the non-dairy milk, Yerba Mate, coconut oil or butter, sweetener, cinnamon, and sea salt into a blender. Add heated water and start blending at a low speed, increasing to a high speed. Blend for about 30 - 45 seconds, until frothy and strain. Pour into your favorite coffee mug and enjoy your energy boost to happiness!!
