Passion Flower has been used traditionally for years and years! Get your beauty sleep with this hot, soothing tea tonic latte with subtle citrusy notes, turmeric and coconut. It can help to promote a restful night’s sleep and may also reduce stress and anxiety with its sedative and calming properties. It has also been used to treat women experiencing hot flashes during menopause and was traditionally used to heal bruises and cuts. Enjoy this tonic at bedtime or any time of the day, anytime is tea time and everyone should get to know and experiment with passion flower.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups coconut milk

1 ½ teaspoon dried passion flower

¼ teaspoon ground cardamom

1 teaspoon turmeric

1 teaspoon raw, unpasteurized honey

1 teaspoon pure vanilla

Method.

Gently heat coconut milk in a saucepan over medium heat until hot. Remove from heat and add dried passion flower, cover and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and pour into blender and add the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth and frothed. Dust with turmeric and enjoy. Drink about 3 cups a day to calm your nerves. If you are suffering from insomnia, drink your tea one hour before going to bed and try to not get distracted by things that could stop you from falling asleep! Tsk tsk. Nighty-night!

Method
